Location
We started the meeting in 2006 in my
living room with about 12 people, but the
very next meeting we had to move to my
school building because the number of
participants would have been too big for
my flat. In 2018, the meeting
infrastructure became too small again and
we had to find a new location. Hans-Peter
Wiederkehr has also been co-organiser of
the meeting since 2018 and deserves my
deepest thanks for the work he has done.

Registered participants and presentaions
The Allschwil HP-Meeting is open to everyone: HP enthusiasts, collectors,
inventors, software developers, hardware cracks, nostalgics. We are especially proud that this year we were able to welcome participants
from 10 countries from 3 continents. Your journey was long, certainly not cheap,
and yet you took the strain upon yourselves: Many thanks to all speakers and
participants. Without you, the meeting would not be possible. Below you will
find all the documents for the individual presentations: the videos and the
.pdfs. A big thank you goes to Eric Rechlin, who recorded all the speeches and
edited them at home. All data will also be available on the new HHC USB stick,
which you can order from Eric.
Side programm
The side programm for the Allschwil Meeting started on Friday at 10:00am at
the Town Hall in Basel. Karin Rey
(historian of Basel) guided 7 women through the inner city. The guided tour finished at 4 pm.
The guided tour was in english and free of charge for the participants.
As the Autumn Fair started at 12 noon on Saturday, Karin gave tips for Saturday
for the visit to the Autumn Fair.
